Food data
Food search and barcode scans in Dayroom use two SQLite databases that ship inside the app. These downloads are the same files, compressed with gzip.
- foods.db.gz: generic foods from USDA FoodData Central and the Brazilian TACO table, and Brazilian packaged foods from Open Food Facts, with search aliases.
- barcodes.db.gz: US packaged foods by barcode from Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central Branded Foods.
Nutrition values are per 100 g or per 100 ml. The basis_unit column says which. Each file has a meta table with its sources, filters and build date.
Licenses
Both files include data from Open Food Facts, so they are offered under the Open Database License 1.0. Individual contents are under the Database Contents License 1.0.
